Hey stranger! I welcome you to my green field. You are one of a few travelers, who did not pass me by in a rush for a far way destination. I am not complaining though. I am grateful for my life. I’ve been growing here for many years now. I’ve met great philosophers, poets and warriors.  I’ve been faced with the darkest of times in this ancient land – in the middle of central Greece. I’ve been blessed with the velvet light of this southern sun. I’ve been covered with the clearest sky you have ever seen. Yes, I have been beaten by the storms and broken by the winds, but I am still here.  I stand with pride for centuries. I stand like nature’s unique artwork. I stand to provide my shadow if you need it. I stand to provide shelter to travelers like you. I stand here until I tell my story to the next traveler…
